Jeannette E. Freeman is an attorney whose primary area of practice is U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law. Ms. Freeman has represented clients with the various U.S. immigration government agencies. Such agencies include, but is not limited to, the Department of Homeland Security ("DHS"), the Executive Office for Immigration Review ("EOIR"), Immigration Customs and Enforcement ("ICE") and Customs and Border Protection ("CBP"). Ms. Freeman has extensive knowledge and experience in the areas of family-based immigration, U.S. Citizenship, Consular Processing and Removal Defense. Over the years Ms. Freeman has established an exceptional track record of success in her representation of her clients.
Ms. Freeman previously worked as Senior Attorney for Chandler B. Sharma, Partner, Smith, White, Sharma & Halpern, P.A. (2005 – 2009); Partner, American Immigration & Int'l Law Center (1999-2005), and Of Counsel to Smith, White, Sharma & Halpern (1992-1999).
Ms. Freeman has represented clients in Consular Processing cases at various American Embassies in resolving visa issuance issues. She has traveled extensively in Africa and India assisting clients in immigration and business matters.
After completing her J.D. degree at the University of Memphis, Ms. Freeman attended McGeorge University, Salzburg University in Salzburg, Austria where she earned a Diploma in Advanced Int'l Law and Business. She also, served as an intern with the Office of the Legal Counsel, Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (O.C.E.D.) in Paris, France.
